Tarantino’s version of a slasher-movie boogeyman is a disgruntled, out-of-work stuntman who haunts young girls, likely because they belong to the CGI-generation. Kurt Russell’s fiendishly desperate Stuntman Mike is turned on by twisted metal and torn flesh, but throw some tough chicks his way and he’ll shrivel up like a dick in cold water.
